Williams Formula 1 reserve driver Luke Browning says he “couldn’t believe” the pace he demonstrated on his way to fourth place in only his second Super Formula race at Motegi.
Browning rose from a lowly 21st on the grid to score Kondo Racing’s best finish in the series in almost a year, leaving his mandatory pit stop until the penultimate lap of the race.
