FCA to drop shift at Ontario minivan plant

FCA, aligning volume with demand as Dodge Grand Caravan output is discontinued in late May, said the longtime minivan factory will switch to a "traditional two-shift operation" starting June 29, resulting in 1,500 layoffs.
