McLaren expects Alpine to keep Piastri until end of F1 season

Piastri will race for McLaren next year after a contract saga over the summer saw Alpine claim it had a deal in place for him to race in 2023, only for the Contract Recognition Board to rule in McLaren’s favour.
In the wake of losing the case, Alpine said it would review its existing relationship with Piastri that could have opened the door for him to join McLaren early.

It was created in 1975 in response to the oil embargo by member nations in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in 1973–1974.
